I Love Stories ...

Stories are a wonderful way to share the world's experiences and wisdoms with children.

Stories are verbal, so you can tell one any time, anywhere, and in any way that fits your time and place.

Stories present the world to children in a way that appeals to their own imagination, sense of humour and understanding of truth.

Stories are healing, funny, nonsensical, truthful, historical, colourful, joyful and emotional.

A story can be retold over and over again, and the listener can hear something different from it each time.

I love stories.

In This Garden

In this garden I have compiled a collection of stories that have come my way over the years. Where possible I have quoted sources of the stories I have found, however many of these were lost before the story even found it's way to me.

If you have a story that you would like to include here, please submit it to me. I cannot promise that it will be added to the blog, but I will certainly read it and see if it fits among the categories I have chosen.

Submissions may be made to:

lavendillyhouse@yahoo.com

Enjoy the stories,
Jennifer McCormack
